Our customer’s can expect a complete breakdown of all construction costs related to their project in a formal and intuitive estimate. Transparency in our pricing and scopes of work is evident from the time we submit our estimates, to the final invoice. We know of no other builder that takes the time to break down your project line by line, trade by trade like we do. Finished Right takes the time to evaluate your plans, include all peripheral costs, include allowances for all products and establish a timeline and budget approved by you before commencing with any work.

Finished Right Construction is owned and operated by Erik Hart and Barry Richardson and in no small part aided by Erik’s father Gary Hart and Barry’s brother Brad Richardson. With over 40 years of construction experience in Colorado, we have gained the overwhelming satisfaction of our valued customers. We consider ourselves lucky to be involved, all be it for a short time, in our customer’s lives.

OUR COMPANY

Erik Hart is a Colorado native born in 1972, raised in Parker now living in Parker where he owns a home and is married to Mellisa Hart and have a beautiful baby girl. Erik worked for his father’s company – Pioneer Concrete forming, during the summers in high school and while in college. Upon graduating from Ponderosa High School, Erik attended Arapahoe Community College for two years. He then went abroad to Antarctica via Australia and New Zealand in support of Antarctic Support Associates. Erik spent two years learning and teaching custom carpentry for the organization. Arriving home in Colorado, Erik went to work as a custom interior trimmer working on “high-end” homes in Perry Park, Castle Pines, and Parker. With a solid reputation, Erik went on to be a contract home builder in the same area and then to team with Barry Richardson in creating Finished Right Construction, Inc. Erik is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and hunting and fishing in the mountains and rivers of Colorado.

Barry Richardson is a Colorado native born in 1971, raised in Parker, now married to Megan Donahue Richardson with two sons, and owns a home in Denver. After graduating from Ponderosa High School he attended Platt College for marketing and design. Upon graduation he worked for Qwest Marketing in Denver and then for Southern Bell in Florida. After returning to Colorado, Barry teamed with his brother to learn custom home construction. With five years experience framing custom homes, Barry went to work as an assistant superintendent for Bader Burke and Company. Fully trained, Barry took a position as a custom home superintendent for JLS Custom Homes where he worked until 2001, he then collaborated with Erik Hart to form Finished Right Construction, Inc. Together they have enjoyed the satisfaction of customers, subcontractors and partnering architects alike in creating a reputable company with 40+ years of combined experience in construction and management. In his free time Barry enjoys spending time with family, skiing, fishing, and spending time in the mountains.
